Pingu’s Mega Launch Ceremony was successfully held in Karachi at Global Marquee this month to acknowledge and recognise the excellence of the UK-based brand Pingu’s English International School. More than 1,000 guests were present, including parents and local authorities.
The Mega Launch event was attended by Kashif Memon, CEO at Pingu’s English Pakistan, and the guest of honour was Derek Price, CEO at Linguaphone Group Headquarters. Senior executives from major companies, Muffasir Atta Ahmed, President of Karachi Chamber of Commerce, were also in attendance, along with the Vice-President, Hanif Rehan, educationists, the famous TV show host, Owais Rabbani, politicians and reporters from different News Channels (GEO news, AAJ News, K21).
More than 1,000 parents travelled from all of Karachi’s six campuses (FB area campus, PECHS Campus, Gulshan Campus, Airport campus, DHA Campus and Clifton campus) to attend the Mega Launch Ceremony.
Speaking at this well-attended event, Derek Price commented: “I was privileged to be able to attend the Pingu’s English Mega Launch event in Karachi earlier this month.

At the ceremony, Derek Price and Kashif Memon issued the certificate and awards of commendable contribution to the heads, principals, partners, and teachers of Pingu’s English School.
Several parents at the Mega Launch were interested in enrolling their kids in the new Pingu’s English Kindergarten programs. These were recently added to the programs of Pingu’s English School in Pakistan.
Kashif Memon added: “Due to the brand’s good reputation in the country, Pakistani parents tend to choose Pingu’s English because it differs from the classic didactic approach to teaching and learning, which addresses certain areas of education but does not use a more holistic approach to teach the child.
